Our team
From a classroom in Ioannina to a complete approach to learning
Exelixi For Minds opened in Ioannina in 2008. We developed Exelixi Online through our classroom work, to give students study materials and support between lessons.
Our foundations: experience, consistency and a personal approach
Exelixi For Minds began teaching in Ioannina in 2008, preparing its first students for the 2009 Panhellenic university entrance examinations. Our aim has remained the same: to help students understand how they think, how they write and how they can improve, rather than simply memorise answers.
Exelixi Online gives students access to exercises, practice exams and explanations using the AnswerUnfold method.
Our philosophy
High-quality teaching
Preparation is grounded in subject expertise, consistency and the official examination syllabus.
A record of student achievement
Exelixi For Minds has supported students who have set demanding goals and achieved them.
A balanced approach to learning
Rigorous preparation can take place without fear, excessive pressure or emotional strain.
Humour and positive energy
Learning is supported by confidence, a sense of humour and a positive relationship with the teacher.
Innovation in practice
We use technology where it addresses a real learning need, from mobile study tools to AnswerUnfold.
Our centre
You’ll find us at 5 Zygomalli Street in Ioannina.
Our classrooms, library and study desks are where we teach, answer questions and work with students.
At your first appointment, you can look around the centre and talk to us about lessons.
The person behind the method

Greek Philology graduate, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki · Founder of Exelixi For Minds
Iraklis Mantis
He studied Greek Philology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and went on to postgraduate studies in Creative Writing at the Hellenic Open University.
Since 2008, he has taught Modern Greek Language and Literature to upper secondary students, focusing on Panhellenic examination preparation and the development of clear thinking.
He sees the mobile phone as a new medium for sharing knowledge: thoughtfully designed, it can make high-quality study more accessible, consistent and personal.
Our vision
Learning should continue beyond the lesson. A mobile phone is always close at hand; thoughtfully designed, it can also provide an accessible place for structured study, reliable digital support and an approach grounded in teaching.
That’s why we design our tools around the questions and difficulties we see in lessons every day.
