Data controller
The data controller is the organisation that operates the app exelixi.online. For privacy enquiries, please contactprivacy@exelixi.online.
Account information
The app does not require a user account and does not collect login details, such as a username, account email address or password.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions are processed through the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device. We do not collect or store payment card details. The app uses StoreKit and Google Play Billing to verify active purchases or subscriptions and to restore purchases.
AI learning assistants
When you use the AI assistants, the text you enter is processed to generate a response or assessment. The app asks for your consent before sending text for AI processing for the first time.
You can withdraw consent in the Privacy & Data Use section. Once consent is withdrawn, the app will not send new content for AI processing. This content is not linked to a user identity, as there is no user account.
Do not enter sensitive personal data, such as health information, addresses, passwords or financial details.
Crash data and device identifiers
Crash reports and device-level identifiers may be collected to maintain and improve the app's stability. This data is used to diagnose errors and improve reliability, not for advertising, tracking or identifying you.
Progress and settings
Your progress, settings and records of completed exercises or lessons are stored locally on your device so the app can function correctly. This data is not sent to our servers or linked to a user identity.
Where available, you can use the option to reset your progress. Alternatively, deleting the app removes locally stored progress. Depending on your device settings, local data may be included in a backup.
Purposes and legal bases
- Providing app features and access to content unlocked through a purchase or subscription.
- Managing and restoring purchases through the App Store or Google Play.
- Operating AI learning assistants with your consent.
- Diagnosing errors and improving stability.
Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on the performance of a contract, consent or our legitimate interest in technical security and stability.
Tracking, advertising and third-party providers
The app does not use data to track you across other apps or websites, display third-party advertisements or sell personal data.
Where necessary to operate the app, data may be transferred to Apple or Google for purchases and subscriptions, to OpenAI to generate AI responses or assessments, and to Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting. Data is transmitted using TLS encryption.
Retention and your rights
As the app has no user accounts, we do not maintain user profiles. Content submitted to the AI assistants is used to provide a response or assessment; we do not keep a permanent conversation history on our own servers.
Where applicable, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. As there are no user accounts and no retained conversation history, the data we can identify, return or delete may be limited.
Children and policy updates
The app is educational and is not intended to collect children's personal data. Parental or guardian supervision is recommended where required by applicable law.
This policy may be updated. The latest version will be available on this page.
